The new film by Mammootty is titled Vande Mataram. Directed by debutant Karthi, the film will also present a prominent star from Tamildom in the lead. Sneha will appear as the heroine of the film.
Producer Henry, who last gave us Yavanika, is back with a bilingual. Titled Vande Mataram in Malayalam and Aruvadai in Tamil, the movie stars Mammootty and Sneha in the lead. Scripted by Henry and directed by T. Aravind, the movie also stars Arjun in an important role.
The movie, based on the plight of farmers in our society, stars Mammootty as a CBI officer and Sneha as a pilot. Others in the cast include Deepak J.D., Jagadish, Kalabhavan Mani, Atul Kulkarni, Karthika, Jai Akash and Rajan P. Dev. Rajesh Yadav cranks the camera and Vidyasagar helms the music
Mammootty will do the character of an intelligence officer in the film. Saikumar, Cochin Haneefa, Salim Kumar will be the other prominent stars in this bilingual film.
Scripted by A.K.Sajan and A.K.Santhosh, the film will have music by Vidyasagar. The film will have its pooja on the 30th of this month.
